Did you know that for only $10 anyone can join the Master Gardener Foundation of Thurston County? Join or renew your membership now and enjoy connecting with fellow gardeners and attending member-only functions, such as trainings, tours and Foundation meetings – many of which are free!
Make a long lasting impact through planned giving to the Master Gardener Foundation of Thurston County.
Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by Washington State University Extension to provide science-based information to home gardeners about best gardening practices.
Master Recycler Composter volunteers are trained on how to reduce waste and increase public awareness of opportunities to prevent waste, recycle and compost in Thurston County.
Our Foundation supports the efforts of both programs through fundraising, organizing educational events, managing demonstration gardens and more. Learn more about the Foundation by visiting the Get to Know Us page.
Ask A Master Gardener! Visit the WSU Thurston County Extension website to get your questions answered by an certified Washington State University (WSU) Master Gardener volunteer. This service is FREE for Thurston County residents.
